Government is already facilitating demand-driven skilling and upskilling programs through Samarth.e 13th June, Narayan Seva Sansthan inaugurated Narayan Sewing Training Center for differently abled in China Wholesale Lithium Battery Hedge Trimmer partnership with Skill India Team, where they will be undergoing 30 to 45 days hands-on training on sewing machines backed up by training team from Narayan Seva Sansthan. The NGO Skilled over 8,750 specially enabled individuals since 2011.3 per cent in 2017-18. Courses like Hand Embroidery, Garment Packing and basic training with the latest technology Sewing machine will be given by Skill India Team for free of cost. To address this issue, Central government has launched SAMARTH Scheme to provide demand-driven, placement-oriented skilling program, and integrated industry to amplify jobs and promote skill up-gradation in the traditional sectors. In this sector, government is already facilitating demand-driven skilling and upskilling programs through Samarth for sustainable employment.Post-Independence, sewing machine played a prominent role in providing clothing and textile production units with stable employment and also monetary independence for women in rural India.As reported by the industry experts, there is a need to emphasize on fulfilling skill shortage and rise in rate of unemployed youth in the country.It is also part of Industrial Revolution where traditional handmade goods with automated production had started across the globe. According to India’s female Labor Force Participation Rate , which includes working-age women employed and the ones who are looking for jobs, the rate has fallen to a short of 23. Currently, with technology integration with Sewing machines, these machines are capable of doing myriad of sewing styles, quilting, and embroidery. The NGO works for the upliftment of Underprivileged and specially-abled individuals by providing them vocational training in the field of sewing, embroidery and computer repairing. The foremost reason behind this decline is because of having household responsibilities like taking care of their children, etc.”Post this training, Certificates and Placement opportunities will be provided to the candidate to make them self employed.AnchorAnchor. Now these machines are categorized in two types: Industrial Sewing Machines and Domestic Sewing Machines where domestic sewing machines include the following: Mechanical Sewing Machine, Electronic Sewing Machine, Computerized or Automated Sewing Machine, Embroidery Machine, and Overlock Sewing Machine. We are working for women empowerment for more than 2 decades where we are offering different vocational trainings to the rural women, students, and differently abled individuals.NGOs unique initiative will impart skill training to women of Rural India, which will help them to be a part of mainstream society. After getting skilled enough in tailoring art and being economically stable, their accountability towards the household doubled up as these women started paying their children’s fees and other household expenses. Industry requires skill upgradation in the traditional sectors like handlooms, handicrafts, sericulture, and jute.
